T.I. and Tiny put their relationship troubles on display in the final episode of “The Family Hustle,” their long-running VH1 reality program.
During the series finale on Monday (May 29), Tiny confronted Tip about his alleged infidelity. “You started cheating,” she told him. “Yes, sir.”
In a confessional video, Tiny elaborated: “For those who don’t understand, Tip had some infidelities with a girl who I hired and that girl is one of the reasons why I got my own house,” she explained.
But the allegations flew from both sides. “You was out with this dude who you know I don’t f*** with,” he said. “You was at his house.”
After their explosive argument, Tiny discussed their apparent separation. “I think that we have things that make us a little different,” she said. “I think there are things that happen along the way — life, growth — that change a person.”
As part of the episode, Tip also spoke on the changes that they’ve experienced throughout the years. “At some point, you grew to this point and I grew to this point,” he said. “I don’t think it’s either of our fault. So, ultimately, ain’t nothing else to do but split.”
Tiny filed for divorce in December of 2016. Since then, whispers of a reconciliation have been debunked as infidelity rumors grew. T.I. has been linked to model Bernice Burgos, while Tiny has been linked to boxer Floyd Mayweather.
As part of the finale, Tip seemed to indicate that the marriage is over now. “A part of me is happy to close this chapter,” he said. “I feel we outgrew each other. She grew in a different direction and I did too.”
To cap off the series, the estranged couple toasted to a new beginning as friends.
