Lil Wayne Sued for Hate Crime After Punching Club Bouncer

Lil Wayne is being sued by a nightclub security guard who claims the rapper struck him in a violent hate crime.

The accuser says that he was working a BET Awards after-party in Los Angeles, when Wayne and his entourage tried to enter Hyde nightclub in June of 2016.

Wayne struck him with a closed fist, knocked him down, and threw a glass of alcohol at his face, according to the alleged victim (via TMZ).

The bouncer believes this was a hate crime because he says that Wayne yelled “F*** you white boy” after the alleged attack. He is now suing Wayne, Cash Money, and Hyde for damages for assault and battery and is also seeking an additional $25,000 for the alleged hate crime.

Wayne’s camp reportedly denies that he punched the security guard at all. Last year, the rapper’s camp also said that the bouncer worked Wayne’s VIP area the whole night. They acknowledged a brief altercation after the bouncer grabbed Weezy by the arm but say he later apologized.
