Jennifer Lawrence Private Plane Makes Emergency Landing After Engines Fail

Jennifer Lawrence is either very lucky or very unlucky, but the good news is that she’s OK after a scary plane incident on June 10.

According to E! News, JLaw had been visiting family in her native Kentucky and was flying out of Louisville in a private plane when one of the engines failed at 31,000 feet. The pilots prepared to make an emergency landing, and in the middle of that, the other engine failed. Not cool!

It sounds like the heroes of this real-life drama were the pilots, who still managed to land the plane safely in Buffalo, New York. E! reported that the plane was met by multiple emergency vehicles when it landed, but they also got confirmation from Lawrence’s rep that she was fine.

Let no one say this Oscar winner lives a boring life — and it’s good to hear the odds are still ever in her favor!

Jennifer Lawrence will next be seen in the films “Mother!” (scheduled for release October 13) and “Red Sparrow” (March 2, 2018).
