Damian Marley stopped by the Breakfast Club on Power 105.1 FM on Wednesday to speak candidly with DJ Envy, Angela Yee & Charlamagne Tha God about showing Rapper Jay-Z around Jamaica last month, investing in dispensaries and new music.
When asked about the next big artist coming out of Jamaica, the International Reggae artist only named Alkaline as the most popular Dancehall artist currently in the industry.“Well i don’t know if you know the popular set right now, you have youths like Alkaline and ummm…… and those, that set of youths,” Jr. Gong said while adding that he mainly works with the conscious acts like Kabaka Pyramid.
