Lady Gaga admits she’s ‘in love’ with new boyfriend

Lady Gaga’s new romance seems to have healed the heartbreak she suffered when her engagement fell apart. While performing at Citi Field last week, the singer admitted that she’s “in love” with her new boyfriend, Christian Carino.

During the concert, the “Bad Romance” singer gushed about her CAA agent beau, whom she has been dating since February.

“When I went backstage, Christian was by the stairs making sure I was OK,” said the singer — who broke off her engagement to “Chicago Fire” actor Taylor Kinney in July 2016 after dating for five years. “The best part about being in love with someone is having them there to catch you if you fall,” Gaga said.

Sources tell us that Gaga and Carino, who were seen together at a party for her mother, Cynthia Germanotta, at Bowlmor Lanes in Times Square on Wednesday, are “totally inseparable.”

Gaga was in effervescent form, performing hits “Born This Way,” “Poker Face” and “Telephone” — even during a sudden downpour.

“I’m from New York, where we learn to dance on the wet concrete,” Mother Monster said.

She added, “I have always prayed for rain so I could have my Diana Ross moment like she had in Central Park,” a reference to Ross’ 1983 open-air concert during which she defiantly — and gloriously — continued to perform throughout a lightning storm.

Gaga — who rose to fame from the Lower East Side dive scene — referenced her roots, saying, “To all of you artists, keep going — we have to support each other. The trick is when you’re in a bar play like you are in a stadium and when you are in a stadium play like you are in a bar.”

Rounding out the hometown show, she brought three friends to the stage for “Million Reasons,” to pay tribute to their lifelong friendship. Gaga’s tour sponsor Citigroup is offering a VIP suite for Citi customers.
