The ’90s-style block party will take place on Sept. 17 at Paramount Studios in Hollywood and premiere on Sept. 18 at 9 p.m. “Game Changers” is also set to recognize the victims of the hurricanes that have devastated the country.
VH1’s “Hip Hop Honors” has taken place eight times since 2004. It was an annual show up until 2010, when it went on a six-year hiatus. Last year, it returned to honor Queen Latifah, Salt-N-Pepa, Lil’ Kim, and two-time honoree, Missy Elliott, who was also celebrated in 2007.
