Rihanna is joining several others, including Marc Anthony, in demanding that President Donald Trump do more to help the people of Puerto Rico following the devastation that was caused by Hurricane Maria.

Posting a cover of the New York Daily News, which depicts the “American Tragedy,” where people have “no food, no water, no power, no medical care for the dying,” Rihanna issued a plea to the President on Thursday (Sept. 28).

“Dear @realDonaldTrump,” she wrote. “I know you’ve probably already seen this, but I just wanted to make sure! Don’t let your people die like this.”

Two days prior, Rihanna sent President Trump multiple updates from Puerto Rico, where hospitals had been overwhelmed by patients in dire need of care, water, and food, in what San Juan Mayor Carmen Cruz called a “humanitarian crisis.”
