International recording artist Sean Paul visited Buju Banton at the McRae Correctional Facility in Atlanta, Georgia, over the weekend.

The “No Lie” hit maker took to social media on Monday to give the incarcerated reggae superstar’s fans an update on his condition and release date.

According to Dutty Paul, the “Wanna Be Loved” singer said he’ll be out in 14 months’ time – which sees his release date being December 8, 2018 – Buju added that his fans should expect nothing but greatness following his release.

In a one-minute clip, DP shared that Buju is in good spirits, remains quite focused on his music, and has not been broken by his 10-year prison sentence on cocaine distribution and conspiracy convictions.

Its understood that the Reggae Grammy winner has spent much of his time in custody keeping fit, preserving his health, and educating fellow inmates at the correctional facility.

Buju Banton was convicted on cocaine distribution and conspiracy charges in February 2011 following his December 2009 arrest, he was sentenced to 10 years.
