    Beenie Man Hits Back At Spice Saying He Hasn’t “Buss” Other Artists

    Beenie Man is hitting back at Spice’s recent comments that he has done nothing for Dancehall to be the King.

    The “Needle Eye” deejay lashed out at the Veteran recording artist back in October after he declared that Lady Saw is still the “Queen of Dancehall” during a candid interview with Onstage TV.

    In a lengthy response, Spice said the Doc. was just upset because she made it clear that Vybz Kartel is the new king of the genre.

    During Beenie Man’s recent performance at the Live at The Devon concert series in Kingston, he responded to the claims, “Dem seh Beenie Man nuh buss nuh artiste, but Beenie Man buss Beenie Man. Ain’t I an artiste? I buss myself,” he said.

    “Without Beenie Man you wouldn’t have a Bounty Killer suh Beenie Man buss Bounty Killer too don’t it, and Bounty Killer buss Beenie Man too, don’t it?,” he added.

    Beenie Man also took credit for being an instrumental to Bling Dawg’s career pointing to the collaboration they did “I’m a bad man and I don’t give a damn.” This is he said gave highlighted a virtual unknown Bling Dwag at the time.

    He also pointed to his 1996 hit collaboration with Determine “Kette Drum.”

    “I nuh bus artist fi manage artist, mi bus artiste fi send him out deh pon him own. Suh mi carry you guh a sea, yuh learn fi duh yuh own thing and den yuh hook yuh own band. Yuh don’t come lean pon I. Mines is fi me and my family.” said Beenie Man
