Justin Timberlake steps into the future in the video for his brand new single “Filthy.”

Directed by Mark Romanek (“Can’t Stop the Feeling!”), the dance-centric clip takes place in the year 2028. Timberlake plays a Steve Jobs-like character, presenting his latest creation to the world at the Pan-Asian Deep Learning Conference in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. As the robot makes its debut in front of a live audience, Timberlake starts singing, “Haters gon’ say it’s fake.”

The A.I. starts to display human abilities — pouring a glass of water and kicking a ball, while Timberlake controls his every move from the side of the stage. He then shows off some impressive dance moves, including the moonwalk, as the audience looks on in amazement. After breaking it down and lighting up his body, he caps off the awe-inspiring performance with a highly-choreographed routine.

Co-produced by Timbaland and Danja, “Filthy” is the first single off Timberlake’s upcoming album Man of the Woods. It will be followed by three new tracks and visuals, which will be released weekly starting Jan. 18.
