After months of speculation regarding her status and if she’d be joining the WWE, which included recently having dinner with WWE Executive Vice President of Talent, Live Events and Creative Triple H, Ronda Rousey appeared at the end of Sunday night’s Royal Rumble pay-per-view. Rousey shocked the world, entering the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia during Asuka’s celebration after winning the very first all-women’s Royal Rumble match.

ESPN’s Ramona Shelbourne is also reporting that Rousey has signed a full-time contract with the WWE. As you can see in the above video above, Rousey entered the arena as Asuka was prepped to decide who she’d be facing at WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans, Smackdown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair or Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss. Rousey entered the ring, attempting to shake hands, before then exiting and shaking the hand of WWE Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon, who was on commentary.
When asked for comment on this new chapter in her life, Rousey told Shelbourne: “This is my life now. First priority on my timeline for the next several years. This is not a smash-and-grab; this is not a publicity stunt. When I first met with Triple H, I told him, ‘There are other things I can do with my time that’ll make way more money, but I won’t enjoy nearly as much.'”
