Bounty Killer says he no longer smokes marijuana.
The veteran Dancehall entertainer made the announced last month while speaking at a forum hosted by the National Council on Drug Abuse as part of the ‘Talk di Truth’ initiative.
Killer advocated for youths to do the same as he shared some of the factors that led him to smoking at a tender age and how that decision affected his life.
Bounty Killer, whose given name is Rodney Price, told teenagers that smoking has contributed to him losing his US visa, so he decided to give up smoking ganja to save his career.
Killer has been battling to get his US Visa reinstated for the last few years after it was revoked in 2010. According to the “Fed Up” deejay he believes his precious weed charges are the reason for the delay.
Back in 2013, Bounty Killer was convicted on ganja possession charges and fined $5,000. The trial judge ruled that the conviction not be recorded.
