According to The Blast, Petit Trésor, an upscale baby boutique in West Hollywood, says Nicki Minaj purchased a $5,000 gift basket for Cardi B and Offset’s daughter, Kulture Kiari Cephus, just moments after the birth announcement was made.
The store was told to make the basket as “girly as possible,” and include the most sought-after items including luxury seasonal clothes, dolls, stuffed animals, and a sterling silver rattle. Some luxury organic pampering products were also included for the “Bodak Yellow” rapper.
Two dozen expensive orders have reportedly been placed at Petit Trésor since Cardi and Offset announced the birth of their daughter, who was born in Atlanta on Tuesday (July 10).
Minaj’s basket has been shipped to Cardi and Offset’s Atlanta residence and should be delivered by end of day Wednesday.
Nicki and Cardi have had a contentious relationship in the past, stemming over Migos’ “MotorSport” collaboration, but it all seems to be water under the bridge. They recently came face to face at the Met Gala in May.
“I never was feuding with anybody,” Cardi told Howard Stern. “There was a misunderstanding. She felt a certain type of way about something and I definitely felt a certain type of way about something. Didn’t want to ever talk about it in public because I felt like we gonna see each other again and we will talk about it. It’s always little issues but the thing is, fans are always gonna make it a big thing. I spoke to her about it [at the Met Gala]. It’s just like, see? It was just something that it had to be talked about.”
