“In My Feelings” continues its chart domination, thanks in part to Shiggy, the man behind the “In My Feelings” challenge. There were rumors that Drake paid the comedian $250,000 to thank him for starting the viral dance trend that helped take the song to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
However, Shiggy took to Instagram Live on Wednesday (July 25) to deny those claims. “You think he walking around with a checkbook in the club?” he joked.

Later, Shiggy and Drake decided to have some fun with the rumors. The Instagram star posted a video confronting the 6 God about his compensation. “It’s on the way,” said Drake before trying to justify the delay. “When you send out a wire, it’s like seven or 10 days.”
“You either gotta give me the $250,000 or plus ASAP, or you gotta make that rumor go away,” Shiggy told Drake, who assured him that it’s on the way: “I got you.”
Drake recently shot a video for “In My Feelings” in New Orleans with Big Freedia and Shiggy himself. The Scorpion song remains No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for a second week.
