Dovey Magnum is extremely thankful for the overwhelming support she has been receiving after she revealed that her teenage son is ill.

According to the fast-rising Dancehall entertainer, her son, King Jay, has been in hospital for about two months now after he was diagnosed with a rare disease.

The promising high-school footballer also had to do surgery the day before his birthday, Magnum shared.

The “Bawl Out” singer says it has been hard for her to continue pushing through citing that she is currently under a lot of stress however she has to remain positive for her son.

This past summer was bittersweet for Dovey as her career just began to take flight with her summer calendar fully booked with shows throughout the Caribbean and North America.

Dovey Magnum shared while she wanted to stay by her Jay’s side, she had no choice but to fulfil her duties as promoters already made their deposits for show dates and the medical expenses were piling up

Magnum says she is thankful for her fans, who she refers to as “Bawl Out Nation” for their continued support along with fellow Dancehall entertainers Mavado, Alkaline, Masicka, Kranium, Aidonia and Starface.
