Tyrese and his wife, Samantha Gibson, welcomed their first child late Monday.
The couple named their daughter Soraya Lee Gibson.
Tyrese couldn’t contain his excitement over his new arrival, sharing on Instagram: “My wife is the real champion 30 hours of labor I witnessed first hand the strength of a woman.”
In a second post, the “Fast and the Furious” star shared that baby Soraya came in weighing 8 pounds, 6 ounces.
“We know our daughter came here to change things,” he said. “We are both overjoyed to love you and protect you till the end of the earth.”
The “Baby Boy” actor quipped that he couldn’t share any snaps of baby Soraya because his wife objected.
Tyrese, 39, and Samantha, 29, secretly wed on Valentine’s Day 2017 and learned in January they were expecting a bundle of joy.
“We were able to conceive at the right time, I believe,” Samantha said at the time. “There was a lot that happened last year — everyone is aware of that — and so to have the opportunity … really start a new chapter in the way that has happened, I just look to God and I’m like, ‘Wow, I can’t believe that you would plan it this way and you do it so perfectly.’”
Tyrese also has an 11-year-old daughter, Shayla Somer Gibson, with ex-wife Norma.
