Rapper YBN Almighty Jay was attacked with a bottle and robbed in the lobby of a Manhattan hotel, leaving him hospitalized and needing 300 stitches, according to police and published reports.
The 19-year-old entertainer, whose real name is Jay Bradley, was in town from California when he was beaten inside Q&A Residential Hotel on Pine Street shortly before 12:30 a.m. Saturday, according to cops.
Police received a 911 call for men fighting in the lobby of the Financial District hotel. When authorities arrived, Bradley was bleeding from the face and had cuts to his left cheek, chin and left wrist. He was taken to New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center in stable condition.
Bradley needed 300 stitches after he was stabbed and had a Hennessy bottle smashed over his head, TMZ reported. His chains were also stolen during the attack.
He was uncooperative when police later tried to interview him from his hospital bed, law enforcement sources said.
Bradley was involved in a street fight in front of a Manhattan Saks Fifth Avenue on Friday, according to TMZ. Police had no record of a brawl involving the rapper.
